Posted by admin on April 19th, 2007I made some minor bug fixes and added some features to jBluez but it looks like it’s no longer maintained. So, I’ll post my changes here in case someone is still using it or needs a simple java linux bluetooth solution.
Update (16Jul-7): The WiiLi forums just pointed me to the open source Linux version of Avetana, a full JRS-82 Bluetooth implementation for Linux. They’re wrapping BlueZ in JNI just like I was, but they have a completed implementation. I’ll leave my changes up, but for any actual project you should use Avetana instead.
